Building Safety, Comfort, and Independence
We go beyond meals to help clients live safely and confidently in their own homes. This initiative provides small-scale home repairs and essential safety upgrades that make a big difference — improving mobility, reducing fall risks, and supporting independence for local seniors, adults with disabilities, and veterans.
In 2024 alone, we completed 33 transformative projects, including the installation of wheelchair ramps, sturdy handrails, repaired porches, safer walkways, improved heating, ventilation, lighting, and more.

We help care for the loyal companions who bring comfort, joy, and purpose to our clients’ lives. For many homebound seniors and adults, their pets are not just animals; they are family, offering emotional support, companionship, and unconditional love.
But for clients with limited mobility or resources, getting pet food and supplies can be a real challenge. That’s why, in 2024, our dedicated staff and volunteers made 1,032 pet meal deliveries, supporting the health and happiness of over 54 beloved pets across the Monterey Peninsula.
Because no one should age alone.
